Find Out About Vamps
These vamps are no tramps.Written and directed by Amy Heckerling and starring Alicia Silverstone, Krysten Ritter, Sigourney Weaver, Dan Stevens, Richard Lewis and Wallace Shawn. It’s modern day New York and two socialite girl vampires enjoy the night life whilst abstaining from drinking human blood. But affairs of the heart and head arise to create disruption to their existence.
Frothy, goofy and charming, Vamps is well performed, decently written and is harmless enough entertainment. It’s just that it never really rises to Heckerling’s savvy ambitions. The jokes and vampiric traces to lore are merely amiable, while the actual story is uneven to say the least. Still, it’s not a failure and worth catching on the tube if stuck for some light entertainment to pass the time with. 5/10

ReplyDeleteVMPS is known for exceptional bass quality The only complaints I have heard about VMPS bass is that there is too much of it and I find those complaints hard to fathom Based upon comparison with live music I find the quantity of VMPS bass to be just about right and I find many other popular speakers bass shy

ReplyDeleteOver the last several years the VMPS RM 40 loudspeaker has been highly praised in the audio press by the likes of J Peter Moncrieff of International Audio Review and Martin DeWulf of Bound for Sound It is a VERY large and heavy system weighing in at no less than 240 pounds per speaker and is the predecessor of the RM 30 The RM 30 is rather
ReplyDeleteThe VMPS of the 21st century are light years better than the VMPS of the 20th really not even comparable except for the similarity in bass tuning with the passive radiator Go to to the VMPS topics there is definitely some interest in finding a way to continue some aspect of VMPS although it may end up being only support
